Since 2016, Sport Finance distributes the Canterbury brand in France, the world's No. 1 brand in the world of rugby. Sport Finance wants to develop a wide range of products ranging from performance equipment to ready-to-wear.
For over a century, Canterbury has been manufacturing resistant and built to last. At every stage of production, Canterbury is challenged to find innovations to improve the player's performance and the quality of the game. Canterbury remains the leader in this field thanks to its emblematic innovations: rugby collar, rubber button, - technical layers for the game. Today, Canterbury is a subtle combination of respect for history and product development across all its ranges.

 

In 1904, three Englishmen made woolen clothes in a small town in New Zealand called "Canterbury". Since its launch, technical and resilient products have been highly valued in New Zealand, to the point where the New Zealand and Australian Army use Canterbury to produce their military equipment during the First World War. When it came time to create a logo for the company, the founders naturally chose three kiwis (bird emblematic of New Zealand). Canterbury becomes a national institution, synonymous with quality, reliability and resistance, just like the national rugby team: The All Blacks. Inevitably, Canterbury became the official equipment manufacturer for several decades, enabling the three kiwis to be engraved not only on the jerseys, but throughout the rugby environment.
